16 Apr A perfect start for our new IP-CCTV service for BAM Nuttall
Trellisworks is delighted to announce our new IP-CCTV service, Safestart, has successfully concluded its proof of concept installation stage with outstanding results.
Operating at the major infrastructure construction company BAM Nuttall’s site at Cow Lane, West Reading (where new tunnels under the main railway line are being built to alleviate traffic congestion), the new Safestart solution delivers high-quality IP-CCTV.
This smart use of technology incorporates a managed, cloud-based service with 24/7 guarding and a sophisticated solar, wind turbine, plus a radio-linked set of 10 day/night Axis cameras. The Safestart system works across a mobile data routed network and saves costs by using only small amounts of data because the images are primarily stored inside the camera. Any security or safety issues can be investigated on demand by users at the site and by BAM management when they are online, via the Trellisworks’ Network Operating Centre (NoC).
